Song a day

So I have a computer at the new job that has headphones hooked up to it. It has Songbird on it just waiting to pump some music to those headphones. The only thing it is missing is music. So I’ll download a new song each day. I typically listen to my full library on shuffle.

So – leave a comment with a song title and artist. Each day I’ll add the next song on the list to my library. You can watch my last.fm account to make sure I’m adding your songs.

So get going and help me build a kick ass music library!

My Moonlight Sonata

I am going to make a short story long!

This morning we (Joe and myself) decided we were going to do our first training run – getting ready to run the half marathon in May or whenever it is. Now that I think about it our conversation actually took place in the car on the way back to my house. I picked him up – we ran from my house to his house – he gave me a ride home.

So anyway – we are talking about running and playing soccer and good stuff like that. Joe says he is going to get back into Judo which will eventually launch his MMA career. I said the important question is what will your entrance music be. He choose some classical something or other that I don’ even remember what it was right now.

But I’m going to go back to NDSU to join the wrestling team – which will lead me to an MMA career as well. So he of course asked about my entrance music. You would be right if you guess this is where Moonlight Sonata come into it. Yep – that would be my entrance music. Hopefully we never had to fight each other.

So now I’m at home alone – just came downstairs to turn off the bathroom light and fan. I was earlier pumping out some loud Marilyn Manson on the basement computer – but the album ended and it was quiet. I decided to fire up good ol Songbird and get some Moonlight Sonata going. (Songbird is THE SHIT by the way – I love it – more about Songbird later) I fired up some Moonlight Sonata and then went to take a shit. I felt like it was some dramatic event with Moonlight Sonata blaring through the whole neighborhood. But it was just a typical dump.

Google tells me that it is Beethoven – I was wrong – thought it was a Mozart thing. Ooops.
