I’ve always wondered how it makes people feel better that words like fuck are beeped out of songs when they are played on the radio. Everyone that is listening could fill in the beeps. Then when I hear a radio station beep the word “white” I just about lose my mind.
In case you are wondering where the word ”white” get beeped, it is from a Kid Rock song - Cowboy:
I’m a paint his town red, then paint his wife white
So I guess the single offensive word can be covered up – while everyone knows what is under the beep the whole time and that is okay to play. This all came about in my head after seeing the following websites. You might not want to click on these links if you are at work. I’m sure some people would take serious offense to these:
