Thumbsucker

I’m sitting here watching Thumbsucker on the science fiction channel tonite and there is scene that was kinda weird.  Keanu Reeves is an orthodontist who is treating the main character, a 17 year old boy who is trying to kick the habit of sucking his thumb.  Keanu says that he wants to hyptnotize him to get rid of his habit.  I was just about hyptnotized and I did see my power animal.  It was really strange what the power animal was that i saw.  I bet you couldn’t guess what it was.

the weatherman was ratteling off a bunch of temps, 9 below, 11 below, 20 below, until he said he was gonna quit saying below, all the numbers he gave us were implied to mean that much below zero. Fargo had the highest temperature – DAMMIT its cold, i hate it.

Its bad tonite tho… I watch almost all of the stupid show that is the young allstars game before my usual tuesday nite poker game starts. i set the dish DVR to record the rest of the show. up until this time in my life dish dvr has been nothing but top notch for me. tonite is a differernt story.

i start to watch the show, the east goes up but the west comes back to build a big lead. the east suddenly takes a big lead of their own.

i’m cheering for Brian Rolston (Minnesota Wild) and the west.

game on and the 2nd shootout begins with the east up 10 – 7.

east shoots and Luongo blocks, west shoots and scores! 10 – 8

My new gameshow: 1 in 1001

I created a new game show, its going to be on the versus channel late this spring.

the game consists of 3 contestants and this is how it works.  player A thinks of a number between 1 and 1001.  player b guesses a number hoping that he guesses the number that player a is thinking of.  after a 45 second dramatic pause, player a screams at the top of his lungs “higher” or “lower”.  now player c guesses a number, another 45 seconds of some dramatic music and player a yells “higher” or “lower” again.

when one of the players gets the number correct, player a will shout “got got 1 in 1001″ and that will signify the end of that round.  the player who didn’t guess the number correctly now becomes player a and has to think of a number.  now the former player a plays against the contestant that just guessed his number.  this goes on for 10 days and then the one user who guessed the number correctly the most times is the champion.

there will be strippers dancing in the background so that people watch.

How to quit WoW

Sometime before I turn 30 (so really soon) I am going to quit playing World of Warcraft. In place of my usual WoW time I will be listening to the Gilmore Girls PodCast.

This will pretty much reverse me from being a warcraft playing geek to being one of the coolest dudes around town. Once I know enough about the Gilmore Girls without ever watching an episode, I’ll start my own GG website, blog, fan group, newsletter, video podcast, and get myself some GG t-shirts!

I will create an army of GG fans who have never seen a single episode. We will continue to be fans, but only based on this podcast and anything we read online or hear by word of mouth from those conventional GG fans that actually waste an hour, or half hour each week to actually watch the show. How long is it anyway? well nevermind, that isn’t important.

I’ll probably wear a t-shirt that says something like: “I don’t watch the Gilmore Girls, but I’m a bigger fan than you are!”.

Its gonna be sweet. Who’s with me?
