Yes, the title pretty much says it all. i’ve always had an abundance of regular screwdrivers, but the phillips screwdrivers are like freakin gold around my house. it is amazing. i was lookin for a phillips tonite and all i could find was regular screwdrivers, which it seems a rarely ever use.
I’m not sure how my furnace pulls this off. Does it have a deal with the regular screwdrivers where the regulars will forcibly take the phillips to the furnace in exchange for their own freedom? Does the furnace somehow lure the phillips to it in a weird science fiction-like phillips screwdriver call that only the phillips screwdrivers can pick up on? Whatever it is, its starting to piss me off. I’m thinking about starting a screwdriver exchange, but if I did that I’d trade all my normals for phillips and then suddenly all the screws in my house would be replaced and i’d be looking for a normal screwdriver.
So if you ever want to get me a gift of any type, make it a phillips screwdriver, or even a set of them if its a big occcasion, like i graduate from college again or something. i think the furnace must have gotten them all, so pretty soon its gonna be hungry again and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to freeze to death.
I’m going to edit the plumbing category to plumbing/heating just because of this post.
