log into my personalized google homepage this morning to see that someone everything is not quite english. Well I know google will let you switch the language, so it should be pretty easy to get back to english.
Shouldn’t be a problem, I can pick out the preferences link to the right of the search box, I’ll just hit that and find English in the language drop down menu they should show me. Only problem is no english in that menu. I had to scroll thru the list several times to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. For a moment I thought I’d have to learn Italian if I wanted to continue to use Google. Then I came across the following and figured I’d give it a try:
After saving my new Pig Latin selection I’m redirected back to my personalized home page and I get perfect English, like I’m used to, no Pig Latin. Now when I go back to the preferences I see that English is my selected language.
So is Pig Latin actually Italian for English? Is it some kind of weird joke that dumb americans aren’t supposed to understand? Is it just an error?
