A couple days ago I actually got this email from someone. You read it and tell me if there is any way in hell Andy Rooney (no matter how retarted he is) said this.
It starts off with a little bit about it, and even included a picture of Rooney which I have not copied here:

I don’t think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.
Right, everyone should be able to take advantage of such programs no matter where they are originally from.
We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and open to their interpretations.

Therefore I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a problem in having “In God We Trust” on our money and having “God” in the Pledge of Allegiance Why don’t we just tell the 14% to Shut Up, lay down and BE QUIET!!!

this article is retarded. andy rooney obviously didn’t say any of this, if he did you would surely be able to find the video on youtube. if you simply do a search for this article you will find plenty of sites that say it is a fake.
As for the points made, i may not agree with all of them, but your horrible disection of this article and your reactions are just stupid.
CMT and NASCAR are not White Entertainment Television.
When he says “no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game” he is saying that even though you can kill someone with a car (just like a gun), no one is trying to ban people from using cars.
As for tolerance, no one has to be tolerant of everybody. it is perfectly legal not to like somebody as long as you don’t infringe on their rights. it doesn’t say anywhere that you have the right to be liked by everyone.
